Halloween Heat Continues into November
The Coachella Valley continues its streak of warm, dry weather through Halloween, into the weekend, and even into our first few days of November.

Afternoon highs continue to peak in the low to mid 90s, which is about 10 degrees above average. Skies stay clear with lots of sunshine. Winds continue to be a nonissue -- staying light and variable.
High pressure remains firmly in place over the Desert Southwest, keeping a large portion of the West dry and stable.

We'll see minor cooling early next week as a trough approaches, though temperatures continue trending above normal. We may drop highs into the upper 80s by late next week--but I'm holding out on that for the moment.
