Desert Heat Lingers Through Pride Weekend

Sunny skies and above average temperatures across the Coachella Valley through the weekend, just in time for Pride celebrations. Temperatures are running about 10 degrees above average, with highs in the low 90s.

We'll see temperatures peak Sunday and Monday around 93 degrees before a gradual cooldown next week. We still stay above average for the foreseeable future, but at least temps will be noticeably cooler in the mid to upper 80s.

Light winds and lots of sunshine with mostly clear skies into mid next week. Looking ahead, we could start to see a pattern change to cooler, breezier conditions and a chance of rain across the Southwest possibly by the end of next week as a new weather system moves in. If you’re celebrating Pride this weekend, be sure to stay cool and hydrated.
