Wonderful, Warm Weekend With Changes on the Way

Mostly dry across the Coachella Valley, though a few sprinkles or brief light showers are possible over the higher mountain terrain. Clouds have been steadilly clearing more since this morning.

Temperatures remain seasonably warm today, but trend warmer into the weekend as weak Santa Ana winds and a ridge of high pressure continue over Southern California.

Expect dry conditions this weekend with highs climbing well above average, peaking Sunday. A notable change in our forecast arrives mid next week, bringing cooler temperatures beginning Tuesday. Gusty winds are possible, along with increasing chances for more widespread precipitation by mid to late week.
