Heavy police activity near Indio Wells Fargo
Update: Indio police confirmed that the incident was an attempted robbery. Two suspects fled the scene an hid at a home in the Coachella Mobile Home Park. One suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after police surrounded the house. Click here for full details.

There is a heavy police activity outside of the Wells Fargo at the intersection of Highway 111 and Monroe St. in Indio. The shopping center is currently cordoned off. A Brinks armored truck is behind the police line.
