Cal Fire responds to reported drowning death in La Quinta
Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to reports of a drowning on the 51000 block of Via Sorrento in La Quinta. The investigation has been handed over to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a deceased adult in a jacuzzi. 6 firefighters and 2 engines responded to the scene after a 3:54 p.m. report. Cal Fire is calling the incident an unattended death.
