I-10 Semi-truck crash leaves 5 dead in Colton

At least five people are dead following a semi-truck crash on the 10 freeway in Colton according to ABC 7 Los Angeles. The truck barreled through the concrete divider and burst into flames. Three other vehicles were involved in the collision.

I-10’s eastbound and westbound lanes are closed at Riverside Avenue according to Cal Transit. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route. According to the California Highway Patrol, the eastbound lanes will be closed for up to eight hours and the eastbound lanes will be closed for three.

Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters were able to put out the blaze.
