Gusty wind arrives in desert

Cooler this afternoon than yesterday with high temperatures in the 90s.

The cool down brought to us buy a trough of low pressure moving in from the Pacific.

This same system is responsible for the west wind that is strengthening through this evening.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Coachella Valley from 4:00 p.m. Monday through 9:00 a.m. Tuesday.

We'll continue to feel the mercury drop on Tuesday before temperatures begin to climb back into the mid and upper 90s by Thursday.
