Open 4 Biz: Korean BBQ restaurant Maru sees bigger-than-usual business drop from dining misconception

Some foodies will tell you that the best Korean barbecue restaurants are the ones where you can grill the meat yourself. It's become a part of the Korean cuisine experience.


But with the pandemic, some diners seem to think they can't get takeout because they'll be taking home raw meat. As morning anchor Angela Chen show us, that's not the case. Takeout at Maru in La Quinta comes with marinated meat that's perfectly cooked with all the free side dishes (banchan) that diners love.
