Two mountain bikers rescued from Palm Springs trail
A couple of mountain bikers had to be rescued Saturday afternoon after they got lost on a trail in Palm Springs.
The Palm Springs Police Search and Rescue Team responded to the Dunn Road Trailhead off East Palm Canyon just after 2:30 in the afternoon, after two men on bikes used a cell phone to call 911.
They had become lost and dehydrated.
A C.H.P. helicopter was called to the area, helped locate the men and airlifted them to safety.
They were treated by paramedics and did not require further medical attention.
