Vocal Robolights complainer arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance
A man who has been very vocal about the issues of Robolights in his neighborhood is facing legal problems himself now, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.
PSPD Sgt. Mike Casavan confirmed that Friedrich Koenig of Palm Springs was arrested at around 8:30 p.m. on December 3 at a home on Granvia Valmonte, the same neighborhood where Robolights is held. Police confirmed Koenig was arrested after allegedly causing a disturbance in a public place while being under the influence of alcohol. When officers attempted to detain him, he resisted arrest.
Koenig has previously spoken with News Channel 3 about his concerns of Robolights in his neighborhood and wanting the city to shut it down.

According to jail records, Koenig was arrested on two misdemeanor counts which include resisting arrest and disorderly conduct while on drugs or alcohol. His bail was set at $5,000.
Koenig is due to be arraigned on charges on January 16.
