Local ice skater qualifies for 2019 US Figure Skating Nationals
Local ice skater Vaclav Vasquez is one of twelve skaters participating in the 2019 US Figure Skating Championships in Detroit Michigan at the end of January. Vasquez is 10-years-old and competes at the juvenile level. He is a member of the Desert Figure Skating Club and is the first skater in the club’s history to qualify for Nationals.
