Police arrest two La Quinta & Indio armed robbery suspects
An investigation into armed robberies in La Quinta and Indio leads to the arrest of two men.
Roman Moran, 21, and Jesus Delarosa, 19, both from Indio, were arrested Friday at around 4 p.m. during the service of a search warrant at two residences in Indio.
Officers found three handguns and a sawed-off shotgun during the operation.
An additional suspect, Rene Moran, 20, of Indio, was previously in custody at Indio Jail unrelated to this investigation.
Moran and Delarosa were booked into Indio Jail on charges of robbery, firearms violations, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The operation was a joint effort between Indio Police Detectives the La Quinta Police Department Special Enforcement Team (LQ- SET) and the Post-Release Accountability Team (PACT).
