Motorist cut from wreckage after collision into tree
A person was extracted from their vehicle after crashing into a tree in La Quinta.
According to Cal Fire, the crash happened at 7:53 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Sagebrush Avenue.
The person was hospitalized with moderate injuries
Deputies and firefighters were on scene blocking lanes in the area.
