Palm Desert man’s body found in Thousand Palms, no foul play
The death of a 62-year-old man whose body was found at a Thousand Palms truck stop did not involve foul play, sheriff’s deputies said today.
The unidentified Palm Desert resident was found at around 1:20 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of a truck stop at 72235 Varner Road, according to deputies and the county coroner’s office.
His cause of death has not yet been determined, according to sheriff’s Deputy Robyn Flores. His name will remain withheld, pending notification of his family members.
