Cathedral City’s LGBT Days kicks off

Cathedral City’s 5th annual LGBT Days kicked off a full weekend of activities with a block party.

People gathered inside bars and the parking lot behind the Roost and AMP Sports Lounge at the Pickfair Promenade.

The block party featured dance music by DJ Galaxy and musical performances by Keisha D.

LGBT Days is held every year to honor our local community and to celebrate the diversity within the city.

” One of the really wonderful things about this is the celebration of the gay community as a whole. Were all of the communities in the valley can come together and celebrate who we are and what we are, ” said Buck Beal of the Palm Springs Rodeo.

Saturday’s activities include the ‘Bed race’ (Click here to register) and performances by several artists including former American Idol star Ada Vox , Australian pop star Emily Perry, and Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls.

Admission to the bed race, the festival, and parking are all free.
