Taste of Summer in Rancho Mirage kicking off

If you’re looking to get some good eats while helping out your favorite charity, you’ll have your chance with the Taste of Summer kicking off Thursday in Rancho Mirage.

This is the fourth year of the event. Nearly thirty restaurants in Rancho Mirage will be participating, offering various food and drink specials which are all four dollars when you purchase a $10 wristband.

A portion of proceeds benefits Coachella Valley charities and the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. Some participating charities include the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, Palm Springs Indians Youth Football and Cheerleading, Braille Institute, Coachella Valley Horse Rescue, Angel View, Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert, United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire, SafeHouse, Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory, Desert 4 Baggers Cornhole League, Braille Institute Foundation.

The event will kick-off with a party from 5 to 7 p.m. at PIRCH Rancho Mirage. That’s at 71905 Highway 111. Guests can RSVP online here. The four dollar specials will run starting July 12 until August 18.

Wristbands can be purchased online or at the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce office at 71905 CA-111 Suite H, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.
