Palm Springs leads Nine Cities Blood Challenge

As of Wednesday morning, Palm Springs held the lead in Lifestream’s Nine Cities Blood Challenge.

The challenge is held annually across the Coachella Valley to help restock the blood bank amid lower donor participation in the summer months. Half of all cities in the valley have already held their drives, so Palm Springs’ victory is not yet locked in by any stretch.

The current donation totals:

Palm Springs – 78 donations Palm Desert – 50 donations Coachella – 41 donations Cathedral City – 19 donations
