Herd of bighorn sheep take over La Quinta patio
A viewer captured a large herd of bighorn sheep taking in the beautiful scenery this weekend at PGA West in La Quinta.
The video shows over a dozen bighorn sheep exploring the patio area of a home at the country club.
According to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, bighorn sheep tend to live in the rocky mountain terrain they are specifically designed for. A far cry from the luscious green golf courses PGA West is famous for. Bighorn sheep are legendary for their ability to climb high, steep, rocky mountain areas.
