Traffic collision slowing I-10 traffic in Palm Desert
Police and Firefighters were working to clear a collision that was backing up traffic on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert Monday morning.
All lanes had reopened to traffic at 9:00 a.m. and residual slowing was beginning to clear.
The earlier collision was in the freeway's westbound lanes between Washington Street and Cook Street.
Westbound traffic was backed up to east of Washington Street. Only one traffic lane was open westbound. Eastbound traffic was not impacted by the collision.
The CHP reports an overturned vehicle that also collided with a driver in a white Dodge pickup truck.
An ambulance had been requested to treat minor injuries.
