Priest Sentenced To Two Years For Selling Meth

RIVERSIDE -The sentence is two years for a former Catholic priest.

Fifty-one-year-old Anthony Garduno was accused of selling methamphetamine out of his chapel in Home Gardens, near Riverside.

He pleaded guilty in January to possessing drugs for sale, as well as receiving stolen property and prescription drugs.

Garduno has also been accused of several sexual assaults, but no charges have been filed.

Garduno was de-frocked in the early 1990’s, and had no association with the Roman Catholic Church.
