Crash kills one on Interstate 10
A driver is dead after a crash on Interstate 10 in Thousand Palms.
The California Highway Patrol says that driver was thrown from their vehicle in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, about a mile west of Bob Hope Drive.
The crash was first reported around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Traffic was never delayed, and lanes were never blocked.
The victim’s name has not been released, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
