Palm Tree Fires in Palm Desert
Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert.
Several palm trees caught fire shortly after 8:00 p.m. Thursday night near the intersection of Portola and Frank Sinatra in the far northwestern section of the resort.
The fire briefly closed lanes on both Portola and Frank Sinatra with 7 engines responding.
There are no report of injuries.
