Q.R. Codes Bring Tombstones to Life

A local company is marketing interactive Q.R. codes for tombstones. The new technology is bringing voices from the grave, back to life. It takes home movies, pictures and memories from family members and embeds them on a Q.R. Code, that’s attached to the grave marker, headstone or urn. Family, friends and people walking by can scan the code with their smart phone to find out more about the person who’s died.
Judy Voitkun of Bio Memorial Video says, “So many younger children will never get to meet their grandparents, but I think through our product, they will be able to do that.”
The cost of a biographical memorial video and quick response code starts at $275.00.
