According to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, prostate cancer is the second-most common type of cancer in men, and one in six men will develop the disease.
The symposium is named for famed golfer Arnold Palmer, who was diagnosed with the disease in 1997, underwent surgery and radiation treatment and was back on the course eight weeks afterward.
Lunch or dinner will be provided at the lectures. Further details are available by calling (760) 834-3798 or online at www.emc.org.
