Police search for man who robbed La Quinta bank

Police are searching for a man who robbed a U.S. Bank in La Quinta on Wednesday. La Quinta police were called to 78-434 Hwy. 11 around 5 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 50 and 60, about 5’5″ to 5’8″ tall with a thin build. According to police, the man walked into the bank and demanded money. He escaped the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

He didn’t have a weapon and nobody was injured during the robbery.

The man was wearing a blue baseball hat, a long sleeve blue and white flannel shirt and blue pants.
