Bill Clinton, Gary Player set to tee off at 8AM for Humana Challenge

Former President Bill Clinton will tee off with Gary Player Thursday at 8 a.m. for the ceremonial first tee shot of the 2014 Humana Challenge.

PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem and Humana President & CEO Bruce Broussard will round off the foursome, according to tournament officials. The group will launch the tournament on the first tee of the Arnold Palmer Private Course at PGA WEST, located at 55-955 PGA Blvd., in La Quinta.

The special ceremony will also feature a rendition of the National Anthem by a barbershop quartet.

Gary Player is a nine-time major champion and Humana well-being ambassador as well as a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
