Palm Springs mobile home fully engulfed in flames

A mobile home in Desert Hot Springs caught fire Friday afternoon. CAL Fire responded to the blaze shortly after 12 p.m.

The fire fully engulfed the mobile home, which is located on Avenida De La Familias. Previously, CAL FIRE reported that it was on Colony Way which is right in front of Avenida De La Familias.

KESQ & CBS Local 2 were at the scene as firefighters extinguished the fire. It was contained at 12:38 p.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
