Gov. Sisolak suffers minor injuries in weekend car crash
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak was involved in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas and is now resting at home after suffering minor injuries. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department shut down traffic for several hours and is investigating the two-vehicle collision involving the governor, a spokesperson said Monday. Sisolak’s office released a statement Sunday night saying that he and another driver were taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries as a precaution. The governor was released from the hospital within less than two hours, his office said. No other details were given.
