Elderly woman drowns in jacuzzi
An elderly woman drowned in a therapy pool at a mobile home park near Desert Hot Springs Thursday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Cal Fire was called to the Park West Mobile Home Park, located at 64625 Pierson Blvd., around 11:30 a.m. According to officials, staff members found the woman unresponsive in a jacuzzi.
Emergency crews conducted CPR on the woman but she died at the scene. Her identity hasn’t been released.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office is investigating the cause and manner of death. No foul play is expected. News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 will have more information as soon as it’s available.
