Suspected storage burglar arrested

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrest suspect who may have burglarized several storage units from a self storage facility near Desert Hot Springs.

According to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department. On August 3, 2014, the Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit served a series of search warrants at a self-storage facility, located in the 15000 block of Little Morongo Road, located in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs.

The BSU Unit was investigating approximately 15 burglaries that occurred within the last couple of months at that location. During the investigation BSU identified a possible suspect later identified as Bradley Frumento , age 50 of Desert Hot Springs, who was taking property from the victims’ units inside of the facility and moving them into the suspect’s unit at the same location.

The search warrants were served at the storage facility which led to the recovery of stolen property. Frumento was located in Cathedral City and arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of firearms, and felon in possession of ammunition. Frumento was transported and booked into the Riverside County Jail located in the city of Indio.

On August 6, 2014, the Burglary Suppression Unit served a search warrant at Frumento’s residence located at the 17000 block of Mountain View Road, in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs. The search warrants were related to the burglaries which occurred at the storage facility.

Additional stolen property was recovered at his residence. Frumento who was out on bail was rearrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail, in Indio for possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance for sales while in possession of a firearm, and committing a felony while out on bail.
