Man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting Palm Springs woman

A Calimesa man has been arrested, accused of multiple felony charges including kidnapping with the intent of sexually assaulting a Palm Springs woman.

Donald J. Graham, 43, was taken into custody on Wednesday when the Palm Springs Police Department arrived to his Calimesa home. The investigation began last Friday when a woman told officers she had been sexually assaulted by Graham after she had been socializing with him earlier that day.

After investigating, officers identified the suspect as Donald Graham and arrested him at his home. He was booked at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.

According to a release from the Palm Springs Police Department, his alleged violations include kidnapping with intent of sexual assault, forced oral copulation, penetration by a foreign object and sexual battery; all felonies.

Graham was in court on Friday and plead not guilty to all counts. The judge set his bail at $500,000. He’s due back in court on January 30.
