Art Director/Motion Graphic Artist
KESQ-TV3 (ABC), CBS Local 2, and FOX 11 are searching for a highly skilled motion graphic artist. Working closely with the Director of Creative Services, this position will conceptualize and execute visually compelling media across multiple platforms in support of our news brand, sales initiatives, and station marketing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional design and animation skills with the ability to maintain a great attitude while juggling multiple projects. A compelling reel demonstrating graphic design and motion graphics skills is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Director of Creative Services to ensure consistency in our stations’ and news product’s image and branding
Work to develop and implement strategies for promoting the stations’ news brand and image under the guidance of the Director of Creative Services
Collaborate with Director of Creative Services and producers to create imaginative graphics and animations for on-air promotions and multi-platform campaigns
Develop high end media presentations for the sales department initiatives and client proposals
Experience Requirements:
1-3 years of broadcast television or agency experience with background in graphic design and animation
CHYRON and broadcast production experience a big plus
Qualifications Requirements:
Advanced skills in After Effects, Cinema 4D (preferable), Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere software
Skilled in design, typography and layout
Ability to package products consistently across media; TV, Print and Web
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Design, Art, Marketing or related field preferred)
Relevant work experience in lieu of college is acceptable
