Hit & run suspect arrested following crash in Cathedral City
A driver is in custody Monday morning believed to be involved in a hit and-run over the weekend.
The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 10 between Date Palm and Bob Hope.
Authorities say a white SUV rolled over and landed on its side. CHP is calling the incident a hit and-run.
Within hours a driver was stopped in El Centro and detained in connection with the crash. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released. News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 will deliver more details as soon as they’re available.
