19-year-old man shot in Desert Hot Springs
One man is recovering after being shot multiple times in Desert Hot Springs, police say.
Desert Hot Springs Police Commander Jim Henson says a 19-year-old man was shot on the 66900 block of Ironwood Dr., near Verbena Dr., at 1 o’clock Sunday morning.
The man, shot in the upper torso, is expected to survive. He was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center where he was said to be in stable condition.
Cmdr. Henson says the investigation is ongoing and there is no suspect description.
The Desert Hot Springs Police Department continues to investigate and officers are looking for witnesses to come forward to help locate the shooter. If you have any information about the shooting, call police at 760-329-2904.
