Trailer full of artwork stolen in Palm Springs

The Palm Springs Police Department is investigating after a trailer full of artwork was stolen Wednesday afternoon in the 2600 block of Cherokee Way. The victims said the art is valued at tens of thousands of dollars.

Lieutenant Mike Kovaleff said the 2015 Eagle trailer was taken sometime between 12 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. The trailer is black and it’s 14-feet-long.

Several of the pieces of artwork were abstracts by Elena Bulatova, officials said in the release.

Police are searching for the stolen trailer and missing artwork. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-323-8116.
