Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House to receive $40,000 from local tribe

The Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians will make a donation and check presentation of $40,000 to the nonprofit Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House Monday.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Cabazon Cultural Museum at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio.

The donation will help LLRMH renovate and expand its facilities to include 42 new rooms, providing temporary housing for more families of hospitalized children. LLRMH serves families from the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas.
