Vintage Club unveils multimillion-dollar renovation
A prestigious club is unveiling a major renovation, 17 years in the making.
The Vintage Club clubhouse is putting the finishing touches on a multimillion-dollar revamp.
Jim Welch and Alan Boeckmann are the two men spearheading the project.
“This program started four years ago as a result of members coming together and then having the courage to reinvest in themselves. This is a club that’s really building itself for the future,” Welch said.
Welch said the look and feel of the new club as soft modern, a contrast to the formerly traditional clubhouse.
“It achieves this relaxed atmosphere with elegant, yet somewhat casual. We really feel that’s the direction the club wanted to go,” Welch said.
Welch has several favorite parts of the remodel.
“I enjoy the Point and what we call the ‘Martini Bar’. It has the best views in the valley,” Welch said.
The entire clubhouse is buzzing with staff in preparation for the soft opening Sunday.
The clean and crisp modern theme carries throughout the club.
Club board members conducted 800 interviews with members to understand what they wanted from their clubhouse.
Welch said after this remodel they’re hoping to not have to under take a project of this size for another 15 years
