Ramon Road reopens after car crashes into tree

Emergency crews said two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in Palm Springs after a car crashed into a tree near Ramon Road and Sunrise Way. The crash happened at about 11:40 a.m.

Officers have reopened Ramon Road after it was shut down in both directions from Sunrise Way to Farrell Drive while they investigated the crash and cleared the roadway.

The Palm Springs Police Department posted an advisory on Nixel to warn drivers in the area.

There’s no word on the extent of injuries to the two people injured in the crash at this time.
