BMW of Palm Springs acquired by indiGO Auto Group
The indiGO Auto Group has acquired BMW of Palm Springs. The official acquisition was completed on August 30, and the announcement was made Wednesday morning.
Officials said the dealership was acquired from a partnership made up of the Hickingbotham family and partners Gene Whisenhunt and Jerry Johnson.
This is the 12th luxury automotive brand added to the company’s roster, officials said in the release. BMW of Palm Springs is located just minutes away from Desert European Motorcars, which was also acquired by indiGO Auto Group, back in August of 2013.
Todd Blue, CEO of indiGO Auto Group, said, “We consider the opportunity to represent the BMW brand a great honor. The City of Palm Springs has a commitment to design and modern architecture; the BMW of Palm Springs building is an iconic and significant structure which epitomizes everything this community represents. The symbiotic relationship of combining the Palm Springs brand, the indiGO brand, and the BMW brand creates incredible value to our organization, this Southern California community and most importantly our clients.”
BMW of Palm Springs is located at 3737 E Palm Canyon Drive.
