Man caught on tape stealing construction truck

Newly installed surveillance video caught a man stealing a construction truck from an Indio convenience store on Labor Day.

The man is seen lingering around the vehicle at the am/pm store on Golf Center Parkway about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

He appeared to pose as a construction worker before taking off in the truck.
