Bob Hope’s historic desert home is getting a new owner

Late comedian Bob Hope’s sprawling Palm Springs hilltop home is in escrow.

Realtor Stewart Smith said Bennion Deville listed the home on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in 2014. The website showed the property priced at $24,999,000, but Stewart said he was not allowed to disclose the identity of the owners or the price paid for it.

The so-called Southridge home has 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, is approximately 23,366 square feet and sits on a lot sized at more than six acres.
