Problems at local polling place

Voters tell us there are problems at a polling place at the Rancho Mirage Library.

Our crew is on scene and a poll worker says they were waiting for keys to open the ballot boxes with the ballots inside.

Voters say there were 20 people in line at 6:30 Tuesday morning waiting to vote, and then 100 people by the time the poll opened at 7:00.

We’re told a woman came out and told voters “We’re not prepared, we are not set up.” She went on to say it could be an hour or it could be four and people can either wait or go to the Braille Institute to vote.

Another viewer says the Braille Institute is not ready for voters either and people are leaving.
