Car hits bicyclist near Rancho Mirage High School

A traffic collision happened Thursday morning near Rancho Mirage High School. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department got a call at 7:50 Thursday morning about a traffic collison on Rattler Road and Ramon Road.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department says a vehicle hit a bicyclist. The bicyclist is in the hospital. No word if the bicylist is a student at the high school.

The driver of vehicle is cooperating with police.
