Person shot in Desert Hot Springs

KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 has learned a man was being treated at an area hospital. The crime scene was cleared and a police investigation was ongoing.

KESQ News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 is following a developing story in Desert Hot Springs where one person has been transported to the hospital after being shot.

According to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, the incident happened at 5:50 p.m. Sunday at the 13300 block of Palm Drive.

A man was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where his conditions was not known. No suspect was in custody.

The DHSPD said the shooting was an active scene and the investigation was on-going.
