One person rescued from mobile home fire

Indio Police officers rescued one person Saturday afternoon from a mobile home fire.

CAL FIRE Riverside County Fire crews said the it happened just after 5 p.m. Saturday in the 80000 block of Highway 111 in Indio, at the Bermuda Palms Mobile Home Park.

Crews said firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire in less than 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
