Man arrested for possession of a firearm
A man is in custody Saturday morning after police received reports of a man with a gun near Avenue 52 and Grapefruit Boulevard just before 6 a.m.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested the man at 6:30 a.m. for possession of a firearm. Sheriff’s officials shut down the roads in that area during the incident.
The roads are back open, and the identity of the man is not known.
