One injured in Coachella collision
Police and firefighters were called to a single vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Coachella that left one motorist badly injured.
The crash was reported at 12:06 a.m. at the intersection of Jackson Street and Airport Boulevard.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters said one person was thrown from the vehicle.
They were transported by an air ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries.
There was no other word on the injured person’s condition.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the incident.
