The number of customers without power is now at 132. Edison still estimates power to be restored at 10 a.m.

134 customers in Palm Springs are still without power early Tuesday morning, according to Southern California Edison. That outage has affected homes and traffic signals in the north Downtown area. The number was as high as 140 customers affected at around 6 a.m.

Crews say this is due to a tamarisk tree that fell yesterday onto some power lines on Alejo Road, across from Temple Isaiah. They said the tree fell due to recent windy weather. SCE estimated power to be restored at around 10 a.m.
