Gavin Nguyen joined KESQ News Channel 3 as a multimedia journalist and weekend weathercaster in June 2024. Gavin discovered his passion for storytelling while attending Portola High School in Irvine. He joined his school’s broadcast news program, Portola News Network, in 2017. Gavin continued at Chapman University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism
