A 65 pound tortoise is safe at home. This 11 year old sulcata tortoise named “Baby” was reunited with his owner Lori Holly after a good samaritan contacted the Riverside County Animal Services after finding “Baby” in a Riverside neighborhood not to far from his home. Banning brush fire

A small brush fire is burning in Banning. At 9:43 p.m. Friday night, the fire had burned 20 acres and was 25% contained. Coachella Stabbing

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stabbing in Coachella. Three people were wounded. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at 86050 Calle De Pizano at 9:33 p.m. Friday night. That’s in a neighborhood near Avenue 50 and the 86 Expressway.
